In love for over seven years, two women from Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh divorced their husbands and married each other. “We are together for more than 6 years now, we love each other but our parents do not approve,” said one of the two girls. In September, the Supreme Court decriminalised gay sex and partly struck down Section 377 as violated the right to equality. The law, however, doesn't allow same-sex marriage.
